Laser Vaginal Tightening - Yay or Nay?
Yup, it’s real. It’s a thing. Laser Vaginal Tightening.
LVT is a nonsurgical method to tighten what’s under the belt using laser technology. This is a minimally-invasive procedure that only takes around ten minutes to complete. Various websites advertising Laser Vaginal Tightening claim that in addition to firming your intimate area, LVT can also be a solution to vaginal dryness and incontinence (when you have less control over your bladder).
For many women out there, especially older women or women who recently gave birth, the area down under can be less fit and less firm. For those who can afford it, Vaginal Tightening can be a quick and painless solution for heightening sexual pleasures among other things.
A typical procedure consists of a pre-treatment pelvic exam performed by a gynecologist, followed by the laser treatment that lasts around ten minutes. The physician will insert a fractional CO2 laser about four to six centimeters into the vagina. The laser beam penetrates the vaginal walls deep enough to stimulate a boost in collagen production. After the treatment, you’ll have to wait four to five stays before engaging in sexual intercourse. The procedure is not painful, although you do feel some pressure during the operation.
The result includes tightened vaginal area, heightened blood flow, an increase in natural lubrication, as well as a stronger bladder and reduced symptoms of incontinence.
It is recommended that for optimal results, you undergo the operation three times, with each session spaced out four to six weeks apart. After a full year, it is also recommended to go in once again for a touch up. LVT definitely sounds like a catch, but it unfortunately isn’t affordable for a lot of us. One laser operation can cost more than $1000.
